It is well known that my family has for generations held a deep passion for quality Ayrshire bulls. We have focused primarily on 100% purebred by US standards outcross genetics through proven pedigrees. 10 conventional units of Lochan-Ora Flashy Champion will be available for bid at the Ohio Ayrshire Breeders' Association Fall Sale on November 23rd in Wooster, OH. COWBUYER will be there. Please note that 100% OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO the Ohio Junior Ayrshire Club. Our Junior club is blessed with excellent leadership, and we truly believe that the DAIRY YOUTH ARE THE FUTURE of the industry that we love so well. The pic of Champion was taken a number of months ago. He is incredibly strong, and still growing. Our Garry daughters are like family to me.
Since the famous Oak Ridge Lightning was born long before DNA testing was available we were the first to have him tested. We are happy to note that Lightning is A2A2 and Haplotype free. Lightning had many famous sons such as Kellogg and Klondike. The Garry daughters and Champion have gentle dispositions. Champion's dam and her sisters have made 95 lbs per day + on 2x daily milking through tie stall and intensive steep hillside grazing conditions with no silage and a conservative amount of grain.
