Shat Acres Shiloh Skye is the pick of our 2023 Bull Crop. He is thick, masculine, with good legs and feet and the long, straight back characteristic of all Shat Acres cattle. Shiloh epitomizes the nickname given our fold, “Shat Acres Square,” meaning he could fit in a box and hit all the corners. This outstanding bull prospect’s coloring is spectacular, the deep brindle he will be already showing up from a very young age. Shiloh is the 14thconsecutive offspring birthed and weaned by Shat Acres Shania, DOB 4/1/2007. Although all Shat Acres Highlands are showquality, most have never been shown, working hard on the farmproducing beef and breeding stock. Shania is one of the best of the best at this. At sixteen she has never needed her feet trimmed, birthing every one of her fourteen offspring with no assistance. She is a big, beautiful cow who is always ready for combing, but never pushy. Shiloh’s sire, Skye High Glen Rock, is a gorgeous black bull who has given us over sixty gentle, registered offspring improving folds in over thirty states. Rocky will stand in the pasture while haltered and leads easily. The oldest registered Highland fold in the United States--since 1966--Shat Acres is also the oldest closed fold in the country, not having purchased a Highland breeding cow in over forty years.
