#70 – WAGYU Embryo Pregnancy in Holstein Heifer

Pregnancy in Holstein heifer is carrying an embryo made with sexed semen out of our donor cow, GRF MS Hirashige Tayasu F33-ET (FB38929), by Old Stone Legend (FB41493) due to calve July 14th. F33 is a large heifer who is one of the most docile in the herd. She is backed by bulls known for growth and size like Hirashige Tayasu 533, Takazakura, and Haruki 2. She also has World K’s Suzutani, the queen of the breed, on both the top and bottom of her pedigree. Old Stone Legend is a Hikokura line bull with that breeding present in three of the four legs of his pedigree. The MGD to this embryo is a prolific donor in our program with excellent trait transmission and F33 is following in her footsteps. This calf would provide multiple lines of the Hikokura and Tajima lines to complement a herd or give a solid base to start a herd with or build into an existing program. You are getting carcass size, superior marbling, maternal traits, and solid front pasture cow all in one very sound package. Her recip mother will raise a giant calf for you or put her into your herd for added milk and a recipient again! The resulting calf will be SCD AA and free of all genetic defects by parentage. This is a very similar embryo to the mating that topped the 2020 Nittany Lion Fall Classic sale with its wagyu recipient for $9600!
