1920. While she painted a variety of subjects, Charlotte was best known for her Americana
themes, particularly snow scenes of historic New England. This piece is called “Favorite
Places” and it is easy to see why it was one of her favorites. Donated by Ted and Cheryl DeMent, Ill.
