The family started in Registered Holsteins in the late 1970’s. Since then, they have bred over 70 Excellent cows under the Ban-Queen-Sons and Ban-Queen prefixes. Their current BAA is 109.7% on 53 cows. Currently they have 18 Excellent, 30 Very Good, 5 Good Plus and nothing scored lower. The herd is not pushed and in warmer times of the year they rely on pasture for a good portion of the ration. The rolling herd average is 19,000 milk 3.9% fat 741 fat, 3.1% 584 protein, and SCC at 138,000.
