Once you purchase an animal you have the following options:
1. Custom Harvest
You pay the full bid price
Select your processor from the pre-defined list
Livestock Committee delivers animal to the processor
Contact the processor on Monday with cutting and packaging instructions
You are responsible for picking up your meat and paying all processing costs.
Enjoy your home raised meat
2. Buyback
Sale Committee will buy back the animal at market (floor) price
You pay only the difference between the market price and the full bid price (your bid)
No other arrangements are necessary

FFA Market Swine-Exhibitor is Christopher and i am 15 years old. My pig Chunky is a wonderful companion that loves being petted. I have been showing pigs for 2 years with 4H and this has been my favorite pig yet.He loves eating lots of food and sleeping. My favorite thing about him is that he is pretty much a dog and lets you pet him all the time. I was going to do 2 projects this year but my steer had an unfortunate death about 4 weeks before fair. I miss him (Steven)so much and really wish he could have made it to fair. Thank you so much for supporting our county fair.
