1. Custom Harvest
You pay the full bid price
Select your processor from the pre-defined list
Livestock Committee delivers animal to the processor
Contact the processor on Monday with cutting and packaging instructions
You are responsible for picking up your meat and paying all processing costs.
Enjoy your home raised meat
2. Buyback
Sale Committee will buy back the animal at market (floor) price
You pay only the difference between the market price and the full bid price (your bid)
No other arrangements are necessary

4-H Market Steer- Exhibitor is Kyleigh. This year I have two steers, one breeding heifer who I have raised, a male duck and a rooster in the open division. Talk about variety! This year has taught me a lot and has helped me set my goals for the year to come. My biggest goal for next years projects is to have fun! It will be my last year so I want to make it one to remember, I want to work harder and get closer to achieving my small goals along the way.
