Copyright was sired by ELH Blue's Son and was out of a sister of Lightnin's Titan. Titan was a record breaker in his day and was beaten by his son Titan's Hammer - that record was repeatedly broken by sons of Copyright and some grandsons. Combining Blue's Son with Sunboy Waco and Loverboy genetics, Copyright had performance stacked high in his pedigree.
